Kivu Sun Serena is the best hotel in Gisenyi, on the shores of Lake Kivu. The hotel is right on the lake and only 1h20 away from Kinigi head quarters of Volcanoes NP offering an excellent opportunity for certain clients (larger groups) to trek the gorillas or to have a few days of relaxation after the gorilla trekking!   

The Kivu Sun provides accommodation in 66 rooms, including 6 suites, 23 family rooms and a room for people with disabilities. All rooms are climate controlled, with satellite TV.
